Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your CucinAI account from within the app:

1. 1Open Settings
2. 2Go to Account
3. 3Tap Delete Account
4. 4Confirm the warnings and complete the process

Once completed, your account will be closed and your data will be deleted as described below.

If you cannot access the app, you can start a deletion request using one of the following methods:

• Web: Follow the instructions on this page (https://cucinai.com/data-deletion), or
• Email: Send an email from your registered email address to support@cucinai.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

After verifying ownership of the account, we will process your request within 14 business days.

Once account deletion is completed (subject to mandatory legal requirements), we delete or anonymize:

• Account data: first name, last name, email address
• Location data (user-provided): country, city/province
• Inventory data: items and related records you added

We may retain limited data for longer where necessary:

• Legal obligations: data required to be kept by law
• Disputes and security: minimal records needed to prevent fraud, handle abuse, or resolve disputes

After deletion from active systems, encrypted backups may retain your data for up to 30 days due to technical necessity. During this period, the data is not routinely accessible or actively processed; after the retention period, backups are automatically overwritten or destroyed.
